This individual very generously volunteers his time and services to the residents of Richton Park. For the last six years, he has sponsored and coordinated “Community Fun Day,” which is an all-day event that includes: 3-on3 basketball, game truck, bike giveaways, food, games, and book bags full of school supplies for underprivileged children and families in our community. Always a success, he forms and maintains partnerships with area businesses in order to continue being able to put on such an event.
Furthermore, he has been a major sponsor to the People’s Health Fair, as well as being instrumental in the Seniors Giving Thanks Luncheon, both held at the Richton Park Community Center. At the Seniors Giving Thanks Luncheon, he provided volunteers and decorations in order to ensure the event was a success, contributing to a nice thanksgiving lunch surrounded by abundance, laughter, blessings and good times.
Not only is this individual a man of community service, but a man of God as well. He has been an ordained minister for over 24 years, and is a visionary leader and evangelist with a passion to inspire and encourage believers. His ministry has called him to reach out and help people with difficult challenges and situations through the strength of God. He has preached at conferences, workshops and seminars throughout the United States and in Trinidad and Tobago.
This individual volunteers his time through different services such as: preaching the gospel to men in the penal institution, being a licensed chaplain at the Cook County Jail, and serving in the Northern Illinois Jurisdiction under the prelate of Bishop C.V. Marshall.
He has studied at Mason Roberts Bible Institute for biblical and ministerial leadership, and has attended Lewis University College where he studied Business Management and Computer Information Systems. He is the Senior Pastor and founder of Harvest Time Worship Center Church of God in Christ in Richton Park. He has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Sharita, for over 24 years and they have three children.
