Again this year, Richton Park is serving as the Community Champion. We want to rally all businesses to make the day a success. Remember, Small Business Saturday this year is November 30th, the first Saturday after Thanksgiving. Let’s put Richton Park on the National map!
This year, we’re hosting a huge Small Business Saturday Kickoff party at Flavor Restaurant in Richton Park at 5091 Sauk Trail. From 9am - 3pm, there will be exclusive “SBS Specials,” including $5 chicken & waffle meals, and $5 mimosas!
We encourage residents to plan some time and “Shop Small” and “Shop Local” November 30th, supporting those businesses and individuals that help make Richton Park the thriving community that it should be and strives to be.
In 2017, an estimated 108 million consumers reported shopping or dining at local, independently-owned businesses on Small Business Saturday – generating roughly $12 billion in reported spending. 90% of consumers surveyed said Small Business Saturday has had a positive impact on their community – because a visit to the family-owned dry cleaners or lunch at the neighborhood taco restaurant not only supports our local economy, it promotes a more vibrant, business-friendly community.
For more info, and or if you are interested in participating, please contact Richton Park’s Economic Development via email at email@example.com for more information. Small Business Saturday can be a win-win for everyone!
