These war heroes broke down barriers with their courage and determination to serve our country in World War II, and their ability to triumph over adversity remains a compelling and inspirational example to us all.
Learn about the remarkable story of the Tuskegee Airmen in RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit’s immersive experience. Because of its dynamic 160-degree panoramic screen, the Traveling Exhibit creates the feeling of being in the cockpit soaring above the clouds in a P-51C Mustang, the signature aircraft of the Tuskegee Airmen. Housed in a climate controlled 53’ semi trailer with expandable sides, the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit is equipped with a ramp and hydraulic lift to ensure access to all, comfortably accommodating 30 visitors for each showing. Admission is always FREE!
The RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit features the original film “Rise Above” created by Emmy Award-wining filmmaker and aviation cinema specialist Adam White of Hemlock Films. This inspirational piece of cinematography highlights the courage and determination of the Tuskegee Airmen and features spectacular footage of the CAF Red Tail Squadron’s P-51C Mustang Tuskegee Airmen, taking viewers on a trip through time, then through the air.
When the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit visits schools, students are given an inspirational dog tag featuring the CAF Red Tail Squadron’s Six Guiding Principles. These principles are based on the Tuskegee Airmen’s ability to rise above the obstacles they faced in order to fly and fight for America: Aim High, Believe In Yourself, Use Your Brain, Be Ready To Go, Never Quit and Expect to Win.
