Happy Spring, Richton Park!
It is my absolute pleasure to have been able to serve you for the past twenty years. I am both humbled and honored to have the privilege of leading our Village for a sixth term.
As the days, weeks, and months go by rather quickly, I am glad that we are making strides to show progression in the fight against COVID-19. I again want to commend our community leaders and residents for doing everything possible to maintain safe, social practices during these trying times. We continue to be resilient, courteous, conscious, and aware of our community, and that is how we will beat this pandemic.
As we closely monitor the numbers and trends of the pandemic, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we try to navigate how to best serve you. We are thrilled to have partnered with State Representative Debbie Meyers-Martin to host an official Richton Park Vaccination event April 8th, and hope that each eligible individual who wishes to receive a vaccine will be able to do so. Please continue to refer to the Village’s website richtonpark.org and social media for updates, events, and news.
As you may have noticed, we have begun to try our hand at bringing back some of the programming and events that the community has known and loved, modified for specific safety guidelines. In addition to these limited-capacity in-person events and programs, please continue to participate in all of the exclusive virtual workshops that we offer via Zoom. Knowledge + Preparation = Success!
Even among COVID-19, the Village’s plans for progression never stop. Creating a better quality of life for Richton Park and its citizens is our priority. Along with the Board of Trustees and Staff, serving and seeing you through good times as well as tough times is what we are here for.
This is Richton Park. This is Your Home!
