Richton Park Awards Five Scholarships to Resident Students

The scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $1,500 each and will be used for college tuition.

The scholarship was named in tribute to Bill Fleming, a resident of Richton Park who was instrumental in sponsoring and promoting the President's Golf Outing, the original source of funding for the scholarship. Several events, including the President’s Golf Outing, the President’s Candlelight Bowl, Flapjack Fundraiser, Wheel of Names Fundraiser as well as donations from residents, currently fund the scholarship.

The Friends of Richton Park Foundation and the Village of Richton Park support the advancement of higher education for the residents of Richton Park by providing financial assistance for qualifying and deserving residents wishing to continue their education.
