Greetings from the Village Board and Staff!
It’s hard to believe that spring is already here! A season of fresh beginnings, and a time to appreciate the beauty of nature that surrounds us. Flowers are blooming, trees are coming back to life, and the cold has gone on vacation! We’re looking ahead to a season full of positive change as work continues to push forward here in Richton Park. We always get excited this time of the year, about all the new possibilities and ideas that will begin to develop, along with great community events and opportunities.
Our hope is that we are able to communicate just how great of a community have become, and to show citizens that when we are committed to you in every way, shape, and form. We go full steam ahead to get things done, and we thrive with your support and engagement. As I speak this very moment, we have multiple developments under construction and/or coming soon to the Village. Our progress is exciting, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
April being National Volunteer Month, I would like to remind you all of the importance of community involvement and volunteerism during this time of year.
As the weather gets nicer, there are many opportunities to get involved! Our upcoming “Community Clean-Up” is on Earth Day, April 22nd at Glaeser Park. By working together, we can make Richton Park an even better place to promote, live, and raise our families. Join us by registering today at https://bit.ly/RPCleanUp and stay tuned for all our other future events. This year is definitely going to be fun!
Finally, I hope we all take an opportunity this season to remember to do nice things, lend a helping hand, and be thankful for all we have, all that we are, and all that we accomplish, because that is what makes Richton Park so special.
I am so proud to be the President of this beautiful, blossoming, Village.
This is Richton Park. This is "Your Home"
