Richton Park's Scholarship Recipients

Scholarship Folks Slivers

Several events, including the President’s Golf Outing, President’s Candlelight Bowl, Flapjack Fundraiser, Wheel of Names Fundraiser, as well as donations from residents, currently fund the scholarship.

The Friends of Richton Park Foundation and the Village of Richton Park support the advancement of higher education for the residents of Richton Park by providing financial assistance for qualifying and deserving residents wishing to continue their education.

Congratulations to all the 2023 Bill Fleming Scholarship Award Recipients!

  • Jaryn Houston has been awarded $1,500 scholarship. Jaryn is studying English and Creative Writing at the University of Iowa. Jaryn goal is to become a successful author.
  • Elizabeth Johnson has been awarded $1,500 scholarship. Elizabeth attends University of Illinois Chicago. Elizabeth earned a 4.0 GPA her first   semester and desires to be a Compound Pharmacy in the Healthcare Field.
  • Courtnee Napue has been awarded $1,000 scholarship. Courtnee attends Saint Louis University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Marketing. Courtnee will study abroad for the Fall in Madrid, Spain.
  • Deja Turner has been awarded $1,000 scholarship. Deja is a Senior at Eastern Illinois University with a double major in Sociology and Criminology. Deja plans to continue her education and obtain a Master’s Degree in social work.
  • Jaden Houston has been awarded $750 scholarship. Jaden is a Junior majoring in Sports Management at North Central College. Jaden goal is to become General Manager for a sports team.
  • Leila Moore has been awarded $750 scholarship. Leila is graduate of Rich Township Fine Arts High School and will be attending University of Illinois Chicago in the Fall. Leila plans to major in Computer Science.
  • Tyler Belton has been awarded $500 scholarship and attends Virginia Tech. Tyler has interest in Computer Science and his goal is to help others through community service.
  • Jaliyah Bobo has been awarded $500 scholarship. Jaliyah is graduated of Marian Catholic High School and will be attending Tuskegee University in the Fall. Jaliyah has been accepted to the College of Engineering with major in Aerospace.
