2025 RFP | Town Center Drainage & Restoration Project | Due September 30, 2025

Project Improvement Overview:

The Project includes tree and stump removal, site grading, minor storm sewer, and landscape restoration work on Village owned properties in four locations (see below) with recently demolished buildings. Work includes site shaping and grading along with minor storm sewer work to establish positive drainage. All disturbed areas will be restored with topsoil, seeding, fertilizer, and mulching in accordance with the Plans.

Sealed proposals for the improvement described below will be received at the office of the Village Hall, 4455 Sauk Trail, Richton Park, IL 60471 until 9:00 A.M., Tuesday September 30, 2025.  Proposals will be opened and read publicly at 9:00 A.M., Tuesday Sept 30, 2025, at the office of the Village Hall, 4455 Sauk Trail, Richton Park, IL 60471.

Plans and proposal forms will be available electronically only from HR Green, Inc. by contacting project architect Kelly Andrews at kandrews@hrgreen.com  (815)320-7120.

  1. Contractors shall provide a “Statement of Experience” as proof of qualifications with Bid Package submittal.  The Village of Richton Park reserves the right to only issue Bid Documents to Contractors who are regarded as qualified.
  2. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in the bidding documents.
  3. Bidder Questions shall be provided in writing via email to HR Green by 5PM Tuesday Sept. 2, 2025.   Questions will be addressed by project architect in writing via email to all bid document holders by 5pm Wed., Sept. 5, 2025.
  4. The Awarding Authority (Owner) reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.

2025 RFP | Glaeser Park Renovations | Due September 5, 2025

The Village of Richton Park, Illinois (Owner), is requesting qualified contractors to provide bids for the proposed improvements for the Glaeser Park Renovations project. The Village of Richton Park, Illinois received an OSLAD (Open Space Land Acquisition and Development) grant award of $400,000 from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR).   

 Project Overview:

Glaeser Park is located within the Village limits of the Village of Richton Park, Illinois near the intersection of Poplar Avenue and Rockingham Road.  Glaeser Park sits on 24 acres.  The proposed project is to utilize the grant and matching funds to perform general park improvements/enhancements, providing ADA accessibility updates within key areas of access and other specific facility updates as detailed below.  

 Specifically,  the renovation project includes necessary updates to the outdoor pavilion, including kitchenette; ADA compliance upgrades to the attached restroom facilities; and renovations to four (four) existing baseball fields, including fencing and dugout improvements, all located within Glaeser Park in Richton Park.

2025 RFP | Design Build Contract | Due September 8, 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Village of Richton Park (the "Owner"), intends to issue an RFQ / RFP starting on Friday, July 24, 2025, and requests any qualified design builder for design build project delivery under Illinois State Statute 105 ILCS 5/15/A-5 which is interested in being considered by the Owner as a potential design builder with respect to a New Village Hall Design-Build Project (the "Project"). The proposed project includes designing, building, equipping, and furnishing a new 19,000 square foot Village Hall and Site Development on a previously developed parcel owned by the Owner. The new Village Hall will host Board, Administrative, Finance, and Economic/Community Development functions located at:

Intersection of Sauk Trail & Governors Highway, west of existing Metra Rail Line on existing Village of Richton Park owned property.

For the NEW Village Hall Building, including site development, as described in the Request for Qualifications and Request for Proposals (the "RFQ/RFP") to submit Statements of Qualification and Proposals as set forth in Illinois State Statute 105 ILCS 5/15/A-5.

All responses to the RFQ in the form of a Statement of Qualifications (a "SOQ") must be received on or before Monday, September 8, 2025, 2:00 PM, Central Time at:

Each response to the RFQ (and any subsequent RFP) must be in accordance with the RFQ (and any subsequent RFP), and Illinois design build laws.

2025 RFP | Sidewalk Improvements | Due July 16, 2025

The Village of Richton Park (the Village) is requesting proposals for sidewalk improvements at various street locations within the Village of Richton Park - Consists of concrete sidewalk removal, related miscellaneous earth excavation, and new portland cement concrete sidewalk installation, detectable warnings, and combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, as necessary for ADA ramp improvements. Also included are all appurtenant construction required for traffic control, erosion control, and restoration.
