Happy New Year, Richton Park!

As we step into 2026, I want to extend warm wishes to every resident, family, business owner, and community partner who helps make our Village all that it is. On behalf of the Board of Trustees and Village Staff, thank you for your continued support, engagement, and belief in Richton Park. This year carries a special kind of excitement, because we are celebrating Richton Park’s Centennial: 100 years of history, progress, and community pride.

For the past century, Richton Park has been shaped by the determination of the people who have called it home. Generations before us built a foundation rooted in resilience, family values, and a spirit of possibility. As we reflect on what has come before, we also celebrate how far we’ve come - how our Village has grown into a community filled with personality, vision, and drive. That’s what makes Richton Park unique. It isn’t just where we live; it’s our home, and it continues to grow stronger because of the people who love it and invest in it. 

While it’s important to honor our past, what truly excites me is our future. We are entering this Centennial year with momentum and purpose. This Board and Staff remain committed to progress - progress that improves everyday life for our residents, strengthens our neighborhoods, supports local businesses, and makes Richton Park an even more vibrant, welcoming community. We have so much in store for the upcoming year, and I’m confident that what’s ahead will be worthy of the next 100 years.

I also want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank our Village staff, whose passion and dedication continue to move Richton Park forward. Their work often happens behind the scenes, but it impacts all of us every day. Whether it’s Police, Fire, and Public Works keeping us safe and moving, Finance maintaining fiscal responsibility, Parks & Recreation delivering outstanding programming, or Community & Economic Development working to strengthen our economy and ensure accountability, our staff consistently shows up with excellence, commitment, and pride. Their efforts are a major reason Richton Park continues to rise and thrive. 

Centennial celebrations are about more than looking back; they’re about inspiring what comes next. This year will be filled with opportunities for community connection, exciting events, and meaningful moments that remind us why Richton Park is such a special place to live. I encourage everyone to be part of the celebration. Bring your family, invite your neighbors, show your pride, and help us make this anniversary unforgettable.

Richton Park is a community full of promise. We are growing, we are progressing, and we are building something we can all be proud of.
