On the night of October 2nd, Richton Park Police and Fire Departments responded to a shooting incident in the 22100 Block of Main St, resulting in a deceased male victim. An investigation is currently underway by local authorities, including the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force. The incident is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community at this time.
