About Richton Park TIF Districts

Richton Park currently has four active Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts, covering most of its commercial development areas:  Governors / Sauk TIF District, Lakewood TIF District, Town Center TIF District and the Sauk West TIF District. TIFs are an economic development tool that helps communities create momentum for development, job growth, and new construction opportunities.

A highly detailed interactive map of the Village TIF Districts along with other regional incentive districts and economic development-related data is available through the SSMMA Economic Development Viewer.

The Economic Development Viewer is best viewed on a PC or laptop. To view the TIF Districts layer, load the webpage, agree to the terms of use, select the "Basic Layers" button in the top right area of the webmap and check the box next to "TIF Districts" under the "Financial Incentives and Workforce" heading.

TIF Reports

Annual TIF Reports are available through both the Illinois State Comptroller and the Cook County Clerk.
